Drivers don’t fall asleep at the wheel without warning. Those that do fall asleep have often tried to fight off drowsiness by opening a window, or by turning up the radio. This can only put off the problem and doesn’t work for long.
Driver fatigue is a serious problem resulting in many thousands of road accidents each year. Regardless of the specific circumstances, the outcome of any incidents caused by driver fatigue are likely to be more serious.
